In May 2022, Polina Zhadko presented her solo exhibition Inquiries in the Quantum at BIS ART GALLERY on the Winzavod campus in Moscow.
The project grew from her immersion in quantum physics — where laboratory phenomena felt more vivid than science fiction — and from years of abstract painting begun in Seoul.
Works combine textured painting with science-art thinking: light, observation, and the question of how reality behaves when watched.
After language and art studies in Tokyo and a modeling chapter in Japan and Moscow, Seoul became the turning point: her first paintings appeared in March 2019, followed by rapid exhibition wins.
Abstraction remains her primary language — open to endless interpretation — while installations and AR extend the same questions into space.
Interviewed by ART Uzel around the Winzavod opening; discussed Japan, Korea, and the bridge between philosophy and quantum theory.
